PAIR of watercolors of old New Orleans by listed artist N. LUCKOW

Sold as a PAIR, are watercolors of the tourist district of New Orleans by listed artist N. LUCKOW. Each measures 5 3/4" by 7 3/4" (11 3/4" by 12 3/4" as framed). One is titled on the mat "In the VIeux Carre", the other simply "In the French Quarter". One is in excellent condition with glass, the other has no glass and as a result of that the mat has become torn at lower left and at lower right. However because of the title the artist has written on that mat, you might want to carefully preserve it and retain the torn portion. Both works depict pretty much the same scene, low buildings on a quiet street, with a horse drawn cart and balconies. The artist is listed but there does not appear to be a lot about him or her on the net, although reproduction prints are known, leading me to think that he/she certainly enjoyed a degree of commercial success. I'd guess the age as mid 20th century. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates. SEE HUNDREDS OF OTHER WORKS NOW IN MY SHOP.
