This is a nicely framed reproduction, circa mid 20th century, of the PIERRE AUGUSTE RENOIR (1841-1919) famous painting "La Fillette a la Gerbe" (Little Girl with Sheaf). She is carrying her sheaf of wheat, although she looks to be more of a child of the privileged rather than a field worker in the tradition of Millet. This is one of Renoir's more popular paintings and it has been reproduced many times. Renoir drawings and paintings start at about $20,000 and go to tens of millions of course, so, if you like his work but don't have the bank account to support a purchase at Sotheby's, perhaps you might put this little girl on your wall. The picture is nicely framed with green liner and inner fillet and is ready to hang. Allow for a few reflections in the glass. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates.
