JIM N. HILL (1942-) listed Texas artist mixed media painting dated 1985

Mixed media (I believe, acrylic, and pencil) on heavy paper, 32 1/2" by 24 1/2", the scene appearing to be people on State Street in downtown Chicago, with the "Elevated" line above, signed in heavy pencil at bottom and dated 1985. Hill is a listed artist and a few works have sold at auction. His birth date is given as 1942 or 1944 and some information also suggests an association with New Mexico; and, a number of his works seem to come up for auction in Mexico City. He is also apparently a sculptor. This is a large, sunny, colorful, decorative work and will look great in a residence. Condition is excellent, with some adhesive adhering to the back of the board, and gray packing tape clumsily applied to the top inch or so (was used to hold this in place under the glass when it was framed). You can try to remove this tape or, better, simply mat it out. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates. I recommend shipping without a 44" by 35" oversize frame in which I found this (not pictured)----would be much more economical (and the shipping guesstimate shown, is based on just the dimensions of the art itself).
