Royal Copenhagen "Boy Sharpening Stick" Figurine

A fine vintage porcelain figure of a seated boy dressed in traditional Danish costume whittling or sharpening a stick. This classic figurine has been manufactured by the Royal Copenhagen porcelain works for nearly a century.

This example dates to 1962 (line under the "C" in Copenhagen) and displays really nice, strong coloring.

Size: 7.25" tall, 3.25" wide, 3.5" deep.

Condition: as new, no wear or damage.

Mark: blue hand-painted three wave mark, Royal Copenhagen backstamp. Mold- and hand-painted shape number 905, decorator's mark is "SF".
