Vintage 1960s Air Force Academy Chapel Souvenir Pitcher

Here's a great Modern souvenir piece. It's a little MCM-form pottery pitcher or jug, decorated with a transfer print of the US Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel, in Colorado Springs. The building, designed by Walter Netsch of SMO, was completed in 1962 and instantly became the icon of the new academy and an important work of post-War architecture.

Size: 5.875" tall, 4" from handle to spout.

Condition: crazed, minor glaze chip on the edge of the foot.

Mark: "Air Force Academy Colorado Made in the USA."
