A vintage tea tile or trivet in the Sculptured Fruit (#5179) pattern by the Stangl pottery of New Jersey. This pattern was introduced in 1966.
These tiles were only sold through the Flemington Outlet, and as such are not very common these days. They're redware, covered with a white englobe and hand-decorated with a pear design from this pattern.
Size: 6.X" square, 0.75" thick.
Condition: light surface wear, otherwise fine.
Mark: unmarked, but these tiles never are.
