A J. Beatty & Sons Swirl Blue Opalescent Spooner

A fine piece of Victorian art glass, this is a Swirl (AKA, Swirl Opal) pattern spooner in blue opalescent glass. It was made between 1887 and 1890 by the Beatty company of Tiffin, Ohio.

I've confirmed that this is definitely the spooner and not a celery, as the celery is and inch and a quarter taller.

Size: 4.5" tall, 3.375" in diameter at the mouth.

Condition: light wear to the foot ring, otherwise fine.
