Vintage Fukagawa Iris Plate

An exceedingly fine porcelain plate stencil-decorated with irises in blue and pink, manufactured by the Fukagawa porcelain works of Japan. Fukagawa is the best and most important modern Japanese porcelain house, with a warrant to produce porcelain for the imperial household.

Size: 9.875" in diameter.

Condition: as new, no wear or damage.

Mark: underglaze Fukagawa mark, including the Mt Fuiji mark. Also marked with a silver foil label in English.
