Portmeirion Botanic Garden Large Canister
A fine large storage canister in the Botanic Garden pattern by the Portmeirion Pottery. This pattern was introduced in 1972 and is still produced today, but this example is marked with the first backstamp, which dates it to the early or mid-1970s.

Size: 8.5" tall, 5" in diameter.
Condition: glaze is crazed, gasket doesn't seat perfectly, causing the lid to sit crooked, varnish on wooden top shows wear.
Mark: 1st trophy backstamp on bottom.
