A solid Lilac Jasperware square shape trinket box with white sprigged decoration. Lilac, a delicate lavender color, was only made briefly in 1960 and 1961 and then again around 1990.
This example is decorated with a putto representing Summer, surrounded by an elaborate grapevine border.
Size: 4" square, 2" tall.
Condition: as new, no wear or damage.
Mark: impressed Wedgwood marks, dated 1960.
