Baccarat Crystal Tortoise Paperweight

A fine figural paperweight or figurine by Baccarat. It is in the form of a tortoise -a large land-based turtle. It doesn't seem to represent any specific variety of tortoise.

Size: 3.75" long by 2.675" wide by 1.5" tall.

Condition: a couple minor scratches to the polished bottom, otherwise fine.

Mark: sand-carved Baccarat logo on bottom. this carved, rather than etched version of their mark was introduced in the 1970s, and this figure dates from the 1970s or 1980s.
