Rosenthal Porcelain Blue & Gold Chrysanthemum Charger

A fine large white porcelain charger or wall-hanging by Rosenthal of Bavaria. It is decorated with a large, transfer-printed blue chrysanthemum in the center, which is surrounded by a pattern of fine craquelure, which his actually printed on in gold.

The charger is 13.125" in diameter.

Condition: very slight wear to the gold band at the rim, otherwise fine.

Mark: black printed Rosenthal mark on the back. This piece dates to the 1950s or 1960s.
