A fine, large crystal pitcher by Steuben. This is their #8077, cataloged as a "Water or Martini Pitcher" and designed by Lloyd Atkins in 1955. It has a tall, ovoid body with a high spout. The handle is unusual, attached at a single point at the top, but bifurcated and attached at two points at the bottom. It looks simple but it's actually an amazing demonstration of the glassblower's skill.
It's 9.5" tall and 5.25" from handle to spout.
Condition: light wear to the polished bottom, a very slight rough spot along the edge of the bottom, some light marks on the side, consistent with its age.
Mark: Script Steuben mark on bottom.
