A fine small vintage porcelain box by the Royal Crown Derby works. It's hexagonal in form and decorated in one of the variations on Derby's Imari patterns. This one appears to be made up of Indian-derived flowers, but I haven't been able to find a name for it.
It's 1.875" across and 1" tall.
Condition: very slight wear to the gilding on the top edge of the base, otherwise fine.
Mark: printed Royal Crown Derby marks on top and base. Shape number A.1298. Date code for 1986.
Item ID: 3716
