Wedgwood Queens Ware University of Pennsylvania Plates

For over a century, Wedgwood has produced "commemorative" transferware plate in Queen's Ware for the American market. They are made for everything from special events to historic places. They are also made in sets for colleges and universities.

These plates were made for the University of Pennsylvania in 1929. They're they first of two completely different sets made for the U of P. They're on a plain blank with a custom border. There are twelve plates in this series, each with a different image of the university campus.

They're 10.5" in diameter.

We have the following plates. Most have condition issues, and we're offering them for people who need one or two plates to fill out a set: School of Dentistry (wear to front), Towne Scientific School (wear, 0.5" chip), Dorm Archway (wear), Medical School (hairline in rim), Franklin Field (wear), Museum (wear), Provost Tower (wear), Law School (0.5" chip to the face).

Please indicate which plate or plates you'd like when ordering.
