An excellent Wedgewood Glass goblet. This form was frequently made by the company after Wedgwood acquired the King Lynn Glass Works. The foot and stem are crystal, the bowl a light blue. It has an applied punt onto which has been attached a light blue Wedgwood Jasperware cameo. The punt has been faceted and it is surrounded by a wreath cut into the body of the bowl.
The cameo features Prince Philip. This goblet is one of a pair commemorating the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977. The cameo on the matching goblet shows the Queen facing right.
The goblet is 5.25" tall, 4" in diameter and 3.675" at the foot.
Condition: minor wear to the foot ring, otherwise fine.
Mark: sand-carved Portland Vase mark reading "Wedgwood / Made in England" on the underside of the foot. Partial Wedgwood label on the top of the foot.
