A Wedgewood Jasperware box in the Pentafoil ("five lobbed") shape in solid Lilac Jasper. This color was introduced in 1960 and discontinued the next year. It has been made for brief periods since then, but this piece dates to the first period of production. Like most other Lilac items made in 60 and 61, this box has a unique decoration, consisting of two dancing maidens separated by a decorative element.
The box is 3.75" wide by 3" deep by 1.675" tall.
Condition: as new, no wear or damage.
