Russel Wright Spun Aluminum Two Tiered Server

Russel Wright started his design career in the 1930s, manufacturing spun aluminum table and decorative wares in a converted stable in New York City. The items he designed and produced rode the line between Art Deco and Modernism. Wright was one of the first Americans to embrace what was known at the time as "Art Moderne" and which was later called International Modern.

This is the two-tiered server, listed in Wright's sales literature as a #124 Tidbit stand.

It's 12" tall and 8.25" in diameter.

Condition: light wear to interior, moderate wear to bottom. Stain to interior rim.

Mark: stamped RUSSEL WRIGHT.
