Fostoria Chinese Lute Lady

An extremely unusual Fostoria glass figurine. This is the Chinese Lute Lady in black glass with gilded highlights, made in about 1957. It was Fostoria #2626.

It's 12.75" tall and 3.5" in diameter at the base.

Condition: chip/loss to head of lute, 0.75" chip to one of the lotus flowers on the base, and wear to the foot.

The Coes' "Glass Animals" lists a book value of $450. I have taken the damage (and also the rarity) of this figure into account in pricing.
