A fine, light green-glazed Fiesta pattern mixing bowl from a stacking set by Homer Laughlin of West Virginia. These bowls were offered in sizes from one to seven. This is the second-smallest, a number two, and like most mixing bowl sets, the smallest and largest one are the hardest to find.
It's 3.75" tall, 5.875" in diameter and 3.125" in diameter at the foot. this glaze color was used from 1936 to 1951.
Condition: there are two scratches to the bottom of the interior, one 0.5" long. Otherwise the bowl is fine and as new. The detail -like the horizontal bands- is a bit soft, suggesting this bowl was made from a worn mold.
Mark: incised mold mark "Fiesta / Made in USA / 2" on bottom.
