An excellent and unusual piece of vintage restaurant ware found recently in a local estate. Made by Buffalo China in the early-mid 1980's, it is decorated on the rim at the 12 o'clock position with the logo of the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. The logo consists of Mickey Mouse holding a clapperboard against the background of a yellow circle.
This is a salad or dessert plate. It is 8.25" in diameter.
Condition: A few light, short utensil marks from use. Otherwise fine.
Mark: printed black Buffalo China mark on the back. According to Barbara Conroy's "Restaurant China : Identification & Value Guide", this mark was used by Buffalo in the early 1980's.
