Wedgwood Reverse Jasper Ware Garland Plate

A large Wedgewood plate in Jasperware. This color treatment is known as "reverse" and consists of a solid white Jasper body with light blue sprigged relief. This treatment was only manufactured for a brief period in about 1979 and 1980. The plate is decorated with garlands, six scenes of putti playing and a central scene of Cupid Sharpening His Arrows.

The plate is 8.875" ion diameter.

Condition: as new, no wear or damage.

Mark: impressed Wedgwood marks on bottom.
