Fenton Silver Crest Footed Candy Dish

A great and unusual piece of Fenton's Silver Crest line, this is a ware #7280 Candy Box, a footed, lidded candy dish. Silver Crest is probably Fenton's most responsible line, consisting of pieces in milk glass with a crystal ring or "crest" at the rim. This particular piece was manufactured between 1956 and 1964.

The mold for this candy dish went through three versions over its life. This piece is first variation. Later, the foot was changed to make it more conical, and later, the Spanish Lace pattern was added to the mold.

This dish is 9.5" tall and 6.5" in diameter.

Condition: as new, no wear or damage

Mark: no mark as this piece was made before the Fenton logo was added to the molds.
