Fenton Ivory Crest Top Hat Vase

A Fenton top hat form vase with a three-way folded double-crimped top. This example is in Ivory Crest, which is a an extremely uncommon color/treatment for the company.

It consisted of an ivory-colored body with a crystal ringed edge. The color was created using uranium, which means the piece glows intensely under black light (see pics). It is hard-to-find as it was produced just before WWII, in 1940 and 1941, with production ending when the war began (uranium was classified as a war materiel). This is Fenton ware number 1923.

It's 4.75" tall and 6.25" across.

Condition: slight wear to the bottom. Otherwise fine.
