Booths Staffordshire Blue Transferware Peony Pattern Teapot

A fine English Staffordshire ware blue transfer teapot. This pot was made by Booth's Ltd on Tunstall. it is in their Peony pattern. Based on the maker's mark, it was made between 1912 and 1948.

The teapot is 9.25" from handle to spout and 6.5" tall.

Condition: 0.5" chip to the interior rim of the lid (see pic), which can only be seen when the lid is off the teapot and inverted. Otherwise fine. No wear or damage. Nice, dark blue printing of the decoration.

Mark: Impressed Made in England mark, printed Booths mark with pattern name.
