Vintage Teak Pioneer Max the Mouse Table Lighter

A great, whimsical 1960's Modern table light in the shape of a mouse. The body of the piece is made of teak with attached ears, eyes and a rawhide leather tail. He was marketed as "Max the Mouse" by a company called Pioneer, according to the hang-tag.

The lighter insert is a standard, Ronson-type, made in Japan. It takes lighter fluid and flints.

The lighter is 6" long and 2.75" tall.

Condition: a couple of light pressure marks to the top of the piece, and a dark spot on one of the ears. Otherwise fine.
