Bjorn Wiinblad for Rosenthal Studio Line Large Centerpiece Bowl

A fine, very large white porcelain bowl by Rosenthal, made as part of their Studio Line. The bowl was designed by the great Danish Modernist designer Bjorn Wiinblad. The bowl is decorated with molded designs of girls faces and decorative motifs in Wiinblad's unique style.

The bowl is 9.5" in diameter and 5.75" tall.

Condition: no wear or damage.

Mark: Rosenthal crown mark. Gold Studio Line Mark and printed Bjorn Wiinblad signature mark. Based on the marks I believe this piece dates to the 1980's.
