A fine 19th century cologne or dresser bottle in milk glass by the Mount Washington Glass Co.
This mouth-blown bottle with acanthus leaf and swirl decoration is 11" tall and about 6" in diameter at the base.
Condition: some roughness around the interior of the mouth, otherwise fine. Slight remains of the gilding around the beaded edge of the mouth.
My feelings are that Mt Washington produced two versions of this bottle: a fine version which they decorated and a cheaper version which they sold to the trade. This is the second.
