A Royal Worcester bone china Ivory Blush water jug.
This pitcher is in the form of a melon or pumpkin with leaves making up the spout and the vine forming the handle. It is decorated with gilt and printed, hand-colored flowers.
The pitcher is 8" tall and 7.5".
Condition: light wear to the gilt at he extremities. There is an old hairline in the side of the spout of the pitcher about 1" long about 1" in from the edge. This was covered by a an old and discolored restoration when we acquired the piece, so I'm certain it is stable.
Marked on the bottom with the Worcester mark, various decorator and potter marks and the date-code for 1890 (a).
