American Modern, manufactured by the Steubenville Pottery of Ohio and introduced in 1938 was Russel Wright's first triumph in remaking American dinnerware for the way people actually lived and ate. It was a landmark in modern design, and all the dinnerware lines which followed it owe something to it.
These are the salt and pepper shakers in the Coral pink glaze. Both shakers have five holes, but the holes on the salt are larger than the holes on the pepper.
They're 2" tall and 2" across.
Condition: as new, no wear or damage. We will include new corks with the shakers.
Unmarked, as shakers usually are (there's no place to put the mark due to the hole in the bottom).
