Fenton Ruby Overlay Diamond Optic Water Set
This set, which was manufactured between 1942 and 1948, consists of one ware #1353 large jug and six #1353 tumblers. The diamond optic pattern in the glass is what dates this set to this early period of production for Ruby Overlay, as this optic was not used when the color treatment was reintroduced later in the company's history.
The pitcher is 9" tall and 7" from handle to spout. The tumblers are 4" tall and 2.5" in diameter at the mouth.
Condition: light wear to the bottom edge of the foot of the pitcher and a 2" long horizontal scratch at the shoulder near the handle. Tumblers are fine with only very light wear to the bottom edges.
