Farber Bros Krome Kraft Compote with Fenton Ruby Silvertone Divided Insert
Cambridge, who made the bulk of the glass inserts for Farber Brothers, went out of business in 1955, which caused Farber to contact with several glass companies, including Fenton to produce inserts for them.
This insert is unusual in that it is pressed rather than being blown, it has a decorative border in the glass, and it is divided.
Overall, the comport is 7" across and 5.675" tall.
Condition: as new, no wear or damage.
Marked on the bottom with the Farber pseudo-hallmarks. Grease pencil marks on the bottom may be original price.
