Large Wedgwood #6 Sage Green Upright Dip Jasper Ware Jug

A very large Wedgewood water pitcher in Sage Green dip Jasperware. This is an "Upright" shape jug with a rope handle, which Wedgwood produced in many different sizes. This is probably the largest size made (it is certainly the largest size I've seen).

The pitcher is 8.25" tall and 6.25" from handle to spout.

Decorated with white relief in the Sacrifice Figures design.

Condition: no wear or damage.

Marked WEDGWOOD and ENGLAND on the bottom, which dates this jug to 1891-1910. It is also marked with a 6, which indicates the size (the smaller the number, the larger the pitcher).
