Copeland Spode Souvenir Plate - The Betsy Ross House

A fine Copeland Spode creamware souvenir plate in their Mansard pattern. This plate features a black transfer print of the Betsy Ross house on Arch Street, here in Philadelphia, where the first American flag was supposedly created.

The plate is 10.675" in diameter.

Condition is excellent: there are three or four scratches on the surface which can only be seen in raking light, otherwise fine.

Marked on the mark with the Copeland Spode mark, the title. There's also an impressed Copeland Spode Imperial mark and an impressed date of 1953.
