This is a really beautiful piece of Consolidated milk glass. It is a tall cylinder vase that has been hand-decorated with an ivy leaf pattern and a gold rim. This sort of attractive decoration on milk glass is the hallmark of Consolidated's late production (from the 50's to the close of the factory in 1980), which is finally beginning to be appreciated almost as their earlier wares.

The vase is 10" tall by 3.875" in diameter at the mouth. Condition is as new, with one slight exception: a previous owner has taped the original (somewhat worn and soiled) label to the bottom. The glue probably failed and they didn't want to loose it. However, this was probably not the best solution, as there is no way to get the tape off the label now (I would have used white glue).

The vase also still retains a "Consolidated / Milk Glass" label near the rim.
