Vintage 1900's Bavaria Hand Painted "Grapes" 8-3/8" Plate by Pickard Artist, "Edward"

Fresh from an Chicago Estate is this well decorated vintage 1900's hand painted fruit decor Plate.

The Plate, which was decorated on a Bavaria blank, measures 8-3/8" wide. The Artist, Edward" who was a listed Pickard Studio decorator between 1910---1912. See Reed's Pickard Collectors Book for more information.

The attractive Plate displays large life like Purple & Green Grapes on stem and leaf against a soft background of creme, creme yellow, powder blue, and a creme red. The Artist has used a heavy scallop gilded gold to grace the outer rim. Virtually the whole Plate has been decorated.

The Plate is in excellent condition and is totally damaged free with virtually no wear. The gold is between excellent and pristine.
