Vintage 1900's D'Arcy's Studios on Haviland "Pink & Yellow Roses" 9-1/2" Plate

This is a vintage example of a Haviland, LImoges, France blank Plate decorated by the D'Arcy's Studio at the turn of the century. The beautiful plate measures 9 1/4" in diameter and has been decorated with large "Pink & Yellow Roses" on stem and leaf. The under glaze white ware mark is, Haviland, Mark 12, which dates this 1894 - 1931. It is 100% hand painted, no transfer work, with an over glaze decorating mark of D'Arcy's Studio, an American studio out of Kalamazoo, Michigan which was noted for its find artwork. Numerous Pickard Decorators worked for the Studio over the years and a bio on the company can be found in Reed's Pickard Collectors Book. The Plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs with very minor gold wear.
