Attractive Limoges Matched Set of 4 HP Deep "Red & Pink Roses" Cups/Saucers
This is a wonderful vintage hand painted matched Set of 4 Cups/Saucers, most likely unmarked Limoges or Bavaria or even possibly decorated by one of the early Chicago Decorators such as Pickard. Fresh from the Chicagoland area, the Set appears to be a demi set for a HP Limoges/Bavaria Coffee Pot. The Cups measure 2-1/4" tall and the Saucers measure 4-7/8" wide. Both cups and saucers displays large deep red & pink roses on stem and leaf against a creme and powder blue background. Extensive shadow leafing has been used adding to the beauty of the Set. This fine Set has been gilded on the Saucer rims, Cup rims, and Cup handle. The Set is in good condition and is without nicks, chips, or other damage. Have a Pot...??
