Fabulous hardly describes this well decorated vintage 1900's unmarked Limoges or Austrian hand painted floral Vase which was found in a Chicago estate and well taken care of for 100+ years
The striking Vase measures a large 15-1/2" tall and has been decorated on the front from top to bottom with rich and vibrant deep purple "Lilacs" on stem and leaf. Complimentary background colors include shades of green, blue, and some burnt orange. Large gilded gold handles grace the top of the Vase. Additionally the Artist has gilded the top rim/outer rim...adding to the beauty of the Vase.
The Vase is in very good condition and totally damage free of nicks, chips, cracks, or hairlines... with some very very slight paint wear at the base. The gilded gold is between excellent and pristine...with only the tiniest of wear.
The Vase is signed by the Artist, "G. Glewienks".
The large and impressive Vase has great presence and will draw great attention where ever she is displayed.
