Gorgeous 1930's Bavaria Crimson Red Decor Hand Painted "Roses" 19" Lamp by Artist, "M.S.J."
This is a striking example of an 1930's hand painted unmarked Bavaria Floral Lamp.
The gorgeous piece measures almost 19" tall, while the porcelain portion of the lamp measures a large 14-1/2" tall. The lamp has been well decorated on both sides with large hand painted deep "Red Roses" outlined in heavy gilded gold against a deep Crimson Red lamp background. Heavy gilded gold abounds throughout the lamp including the top inner rim, the two fancy handles, the top middle body, the outlining of the Roses, and the heavy gilded base....including four individual feet.
The lamp porcelain is damage free with minor wear. Parts of the lamp hardware, due to age, will need to be replaced.
The lamp displays the Artist signature, in the closeup, in the upper left portion of the decorated area....."M.S.J."
The deep red colors of the lamp makes her a standout piece where ever she is displayed and used.
