Found recently in southern Wisconsin is this gorgeous vintage 1915 unmarked Bavaria Floral Vase.
The beautiful Vase measures 8-1/8" and was decorate by M.W. Poole, who operated the Poole Decorating Studio of Chicago from 1915--1917. This was the golden era of hand painted decorated porcelain with the finest studios of the day being in the Chicago area including Pickard, Brauer, Donath, Stouffer, and Osborne Studios. The stunning Vase has been decorated with large "Deep Red & Pink Roses" from top to bottom. Both sides of the Vase have been decorated...making the Vase a standout whether front or back is displayed. Poole's use of deep and rich colors and expert artistic ability adds greatly to the beauty of the Vase. He has used complimentary background decor including shadow leafing, and shades of light creme blue, light creme red, and a hint of creme burnt orange.
The Vase is in excellent condition and totally damage free with only the lightest of wear.
The stunning Vase will make a wonderful addition for your favorite counter or dresser.
