1960s Compote Pedestal Bowl "Wicker Weave" E O Brody Signed Green RARE Vintage
The E. O. Brody Company, founded in 1958, was best known for glass floral containers sold exclusively to florists. The Brody Company did, however, create some exceptional pottery pieces in the 1960s.
One of the loveliest was the intricate pattern of the "Wicker Weave" line. These pottery pieces today are mostly found in yellow. This pattern in green is much harder to find.
The E O Brody company was taken over by Lancaster Colony Corporation in 1971.
This charming pedestal bowl or dish is 3 ½ inches high and 5 inches in diameter. It is in near mint condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
The planter is signed "N-259 Wicker Weave by Brody."
A nice addition to your antique or vintage pottery collection.
