This IRTC—I Am A Doughboy Camp Illustrated Booklet was given to recruits who were attending Boot Camp while they were stationed at Camp Roberts, Camp Wolters, Camp Hood, Camp Robinson, Camp Fannin, Camp Croft, Camp Wheeler, Camp Blanding or Fort McClellan.
"I am a Doughboy" is a training book that transforms the young recruit into a fighting infantry machine. The booklet has 64 pages that show the new recruit what type of training that will be required of him if he's expected to become a battle ready soldier. It is packed with black and white training photos. The booklet is broken down into small chapters that all start out by saying...I am a member of---A Rifle Company--A Heavy Weapons Company--The Cannon Company--The Antitank Company--A Headquarters Company--The Service Company--and Field Training. Finally after weeks of hard work..."I am a Doughboy"!!!. This booklet measures 6" wide X 9" long X ¼" thick.
**Condition of Booklet: The front and back covers of the booklet are in very good condition, very clean and bright. The inside pages are in very good condition, clean and bright. *Covers: There is light wear to the spine and along all the edges, and tiny bumps to the top and bottom right front corners and the bottom left back corner. There is a tiny piece missing from the top left back corner. There are some indentations down the middle of the back cover. *Inside pages: There is a gray spot on the first and fifth pages. There is a tiny piece missing from the top right corner of the last 17 pages.
