Seven Vintage Charles Lindbergh Postcards

Offered for sale are 7 vintage postcards relating to Charles Lindbergh's Flight across the Atlantic Ocean. On May 21, 1927, Charles Lindbergh completed the first nonstop solo flight across the Atlantic in his monoplane "Spirit of St. Louis". Known as America's Lone Eagle, Lucky Plucky Lindy became an international hero. A large amount of collectables followed and are sought after by collectors all over the world. Today I'm offering seven postcards from that magical moment when Charles Lindbergh did something no other aviator has even accomplished. Listed below are the seven postcards and their condition:

1. The first postcard reads, Lindy Ready to Leave England for France. **Condition: Very good condition, very clean and bright; two corners are slightly bumped.

2. The second postcard reads, Col. Chas. A. Lindbergh Inspecting The Spirit of St. Louis. **Condition: Good condition, very clean and bright; two corners are slightly bumped; minor edge wear along the left and right edges.

3. The third postcard reads, Our own Plucky Lindy and His Famous Smile. **Condition: Very good condition, very clean and bright; three corners are slightly bumped.

4. The fourth postcard reads, Plucky Lindy and His Famous Plane. **Condition: Very good condition, very clean and bright; two corners are slightly bumped; minor rubbing and tiny spot on back.

5. The fifth postcard reads, Col. Chas. A. Lindbergh and Ruth Elder. **Condition: Good- condition; There is light surface wear at the bottom left hand corner on the front of the postcard; One corner is slightly bumped; There are light soil marks on the back of the postcard.

6. The sixth postcard reads, Col. Chas. A. Lindbergh at the Age of 8. **Condition: Very good condition, very clean and bright; two corners are slightly bumped.

7. The seventh postcard reads, Col. A. Lindbergh at the Age of 8. **Condition: Good condition; wear along the right edge and two corners are slightly bumped; there is a tiny amount of pink along the top edge(barely noticeable); There are also tan stains on the back of the postcard.
