Today I'm offering a 1969 Ponderosa Ranch, Nevada, Jim Beam Bottle and a 1964 RCA Victor Record Album—Welcome To The Ponderosa, an evening of songs and stories with Lorne Greene, featuring the big hit "Ringo".
In September of 1959 Bonanza, the second most watched TV western show, premiered on NBC, second only to Gunsmoke. The show ended after 440 episodes in January of 1973 and was the first major western to be filmed in color. Below is a description and the condition of each item:
1,)1969 Ponderosa Ranch, Nevada, Jim Beam Bottle shows the home where the Cartwrights lived on their spacious thousand mile square ranch called the Ponderosa; The bottle is a creation of James B. Beam Distilling Company, Bottle No. 145, made of Genuine Regal China; On the front of the bottle it reads---"Ponderosa Ranch, Nevada, and on the back it reads---"Ponderosa Ranch, Lake Tahoe"; The Jim Beam paper label is still attached as is the state liquor tax label; The bottle measures 11" wide x 7¼" tall; **Condition: This Bottle is in very good condition, very clean and bright; The Jim Beam paper label and the state liquor tax label are worn and have tears.
2.) 1964 RCA Victor Record Album—Welcome To The Ponderosa, an evening of songs and stories with Lorne Greene, featuring the big hit "Ringo"; Lorne Greene was the star of the hit TV show Bonanza and played Ben Cartwright, the father of three sons; The record album was recorded by RCA Victor, No. LPM-2843, in 1964; It features the hit song "Ringo" by Lorne Green along with 9 other songs and stories; **Condition: Good condition; There are bumps at each of the corners, edge wear around the album, and there is what looks like a water or coffee stain at the bottom corner of the back of the album cover; The record is in near mint condition.
