This Occupied Japan Yellow Japanese Flowered Teapot is just lovely. It was made between 1945 and 1953 when American Troops occupied Japan after the end of WWII. The teapot with top/lid measures about 6" tall and 5" by 10" wide from end of spout to end of handle. The bottom reads "Made in Occupied Japan".
This Teapot has what looks like beautiful deep yellow Japanese flowers and leaves on an off-white background with a cranberry red accent on the knob of the lid, around the edge of the top of the teapot, on the handle, and on the spout. The flowers and leaves are also on the lid of the teapot.
*Condition: Very good condition. There is some rubbing to the bottom of the teapot. There is a tiny rough spot that happened during the making of the lid at the base of the knob on top of the lid. There are age cracks on the teapot.
A wonderful addition to any Teapot Collection. A beautiful Vintage Occupied Japan Yellow Japanese Flowered to decorate any kitchen, especially if the kitchen is yellow, green, or cranberry red. Very pretty accent piece too.
