Offered for sale is this Large Occupied Japan Toby Mug of a man--possibly an innkeeper holding a lantern. The mug is nicely painted and shows a sleepy-eyed gentleman holding his lantern as he greets customers. This toby stands 5" high, 3 7/8" across the top, and 5½" wide from nose to handle. Stamped under the glaze in black letters are the words "Made in Occupied Japan".
Condition: Very good condition. The mug has age cracks and light surface wear on the bottom edges.
