English School Water Colour Painting on Board Of Sculptor John Bacon c1900

This is a very old painting of a sculptor John Bacon doing a sculpture. The detail is skillfully done. The water colour appears to be on board as the painting has some weight to it and there is a small tear in the back paper which appears to be wood .The painting may be signed but I cannot determine positive proof of this without taking the whole painting apart. Hence, there is no signature visually from the portrait itself. It may be signed on the back or under the frame. The painting itself measures 9" tall by 6" wide. The overall framed piece is 12"L by 8" wide. The wood gesso frame has some wear and is somewhat distressed. Still appears to display well in spite of this. A little restoration would certainly be worth it. A wonderful painting
