Alabaster and Metal Piano Music Box
This is a lovely old alabaster and metal music box. The metal has a lovely patina to it. There is a wreath and sheet music on top of the lid of the alabaster..The box plays but is a tiny bit squeaky from age, maybe needs a little oil. Lid opens to a compartment that could hold trinkets. Measures 7 1/2" long Small area on the alabaster that shows a little wear but nothing that detracts. Piece is in very good condition. Inside is lined with wood. Highly collectable.
Item is from Italy, stamped on the underside of the lid.
