Vintage Oil on Board American Clipper Ship

This is a large full masted ship painted on artists board. It is very detailed almost in a primitive technique.It is signed and dated in black in the lower right corner A.E. Lambkin 1922. The painting measures 14" wide by 17" long and frame size is 17" by 23" approx. It is mounted in a gilt wood gesso period frame with age wear. Exceptional painting.
